2020 All-City Food and Fund Drive Challenge
Each year, all 14 pools that makeup the the All-City Swim and Dive League come together to make a substantial contribution to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Southern Wisconsin. In fact, since 2008, the All-City League has contributed more than 1.95 million meals for our community!
Now, more than ever during the COVID-19 pandemic, local families rely on the support of Second Harvest. Which means that now, more than ever, Second Harvest needs the support of our swim community!
This summer, things are drastically different for our All-City League. In addition to not competing in the water, teams won’t be competing against each other to raise fund and food donations. Instead, this year all teams are working together to help Second Harvest, so we all win!
We are encouraging all pools to find fun and creative ways to raise money and generate food donations.
Some ideas include:
- Set a pool goal for a monetary donation (can be done even if your swim and dive team is not active this summer)
- Hold a pool food drive
- Volunteer at Second Harvest individually or as a team
Visit the Second Harvest All-City webpage for more information.
You can donate to the campaign through August 31st
Second Harvest has set up an online All-City donation page. Donations can be made through this page, or your pool can set up its own page as part of this campaign!
Send us your photos and updates!
Please email us any updates on goals, progress and pictures of your fundraising or donation activities. We’d love to share them on the All-City website and social media channels.
